Appointment Policies & Frequently Asked Questions
We are committed to providing every client with thoughtful, personalized care.
The following policies help us protect appointment availability, respect everyone's time, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment for all.

Is a credit card required to book an appointment?
Yes.
A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointment times.
Your card secures your reservation and helps us protect time that has been set aside exclusively for your care.
You are welcome to choose a different method of payment at the time of your appointment.
We currently accept:
-
Cash
-
Zelle
-
Credit Cards
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time services are provided.
Although a credit card is required to reserve your appointment, you may pay with cash, Zelle, or credit card at your appointment unless cancellation or no-show fees apply.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We understand that unexpected situations arise.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice will not incur a fee.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
This policy allows us the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another client seeking care.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
Appointments canceled on the same day without adequate notice, or appointments where the client does not arrive and does not contact us, are considered No Call / No Show appointments.
These appointments will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
Because appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client, missed appointments cannot be filled on short notice.
Why do you have cancellation fees?
Every appointment represents dedicated time that has been reserved specifically for you.
When appointments are canceled at the last minute or missed entirely, it often prevents another client from receiving care during that time.
Our cancellation policy helps us continue providing personalized service while respecting the time of both our clients and our practitioners.
Can I arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs?
No.
For your safety and the safety of your practitioner, services cannot be provided if you arrive under the influence of substances that may impair your judgment or your body's response to treatment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Alcohol
-
Marijuana or cannabis products
-
Recreational drugs
-
Misuse of over-the-counter medications
-
Medications or prescribed pharmaceuticals that significantly impair your ability to safely receive treatment.
If it appears that you are impaired, your appointment will be canceled, and applicable cancellation fees may apply. Our first responsibility is always your safety.
Can a practitioner refuse or end a session?
Yes.
The House of Obba reserves the right to decline, postpone, or discontinue a service at any time if doing so is necessary to protect the safety, comfort, or well-being of the client or practitioner.
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
Arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Inappropriate behavior or language
Failure to disclose important health information
Unsafe or abusive conduct
Situations in which treatment is not appropriate or is outside the practitioner's scope of practice
These decisions are made with professionalism, respect, and a commitment to maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
What if I'm running late?
If you are running behind, please contact us as soon as possible.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid delaying appointments for other clients.
The full appointment fee will still apply.
If arriving too late would prevent meaningful treatment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled in accordance with our cancellation policy.
What if I have questions before my appointment?
We encourage you to ask.
Whether you're unsure which service is right for you, have questions about preparing for your visit, or simply want to know what to expect, we're happy to help.
Our goal is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident before your appointment begins.
