What is The House of Obba?
The House of Obba is a modern healing house rooted in traditional medicine.
We bring together herbal medicine, therapeutic bodywork, auricular acupuncture, ritual, education, and community to support the whole person—body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
While many wellness practices focus on treating symptoms, our work begins with a different question: More
What do you mean by "traditional medicine"?
Traditional medicine refers to healing practices that have been passed from one generation to the next through lived experience, observation, mentorship, and community.
Many of the methods used at The House of Obba come from healing traditions that have supported people for hundreds—and in some cases thousands—of years.
These traditions include herbal medicine, Curanderismo, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, bodywork, ritual practices, and other systems of care rooted in relationship—with the body, the natural world, and community. More
